PG Cert & MSc Delivery of Primary Health Care

Our GP registrars have the unique opportunity to study for an accredited PG certificate whilst enrolled at the University of Winchester. All teaching for this certificate is undertaken on the day release and students are required to complete three modules and submit assignments in order to gain the qualification.

The PG Certificate has been taught at the University of Winchester since 2008. The programme aims to broaden knowledge and skill sets beyond that of clinical medicine develop a culture of self-critical, self-motivated lifelong learning through various cross-cutting themes and foster leadership skills within the setting of the ever changing political and economic structure of the NHS.

The certificate contributes to the 1/3 of the MSc Delivery of Primary Health Care, also offered to students by the University of Winchester.
